Brand Activation
Brand activation is a marketing strategy that aims to engage and activate consumers around a brand, product, or service. It is designed to create a meaningful and memorable experience for consumers, and to drive brand loyalty and sales.
Out-of-home (OOH) advertising refers to any form of advertising that takes place outside of the home and is typically found in public spaces, such as on the streets, in parks, on the sides of buildings, or on public transportation. OOH advertising can take many forms, including billboards, bus shelters, transit advertising, street furniture (such as benches or kiosks), and more. OOH advertising is an effective way for brands to reach consumers when they are on the go and is particularly useful for reaching a broad audience in a short period of time.
A Powerful Tool
OOH advertising can be particularly useful for reaching a local audience and can be targeted to specific geographic locations. For example, a brand might use OOH advertising to promote a sale at a local store, or to advertise a new product or service that is available in a specific region. OOH advertising can be a powerful tool for brands, as it allows them to communicate their message to a large number of people in a way that is difficult to ignore.
Out of Home Advertising
Advertising in bus shelters is a form of out-of-home advertising that involves placing ads in or on the structures that provide shelter for passengers waiting for buses. These shelters can be found in a wide range of locations, including busy urban areas, suburban areas, and rural areas, and are often located near bus stops or bus stations. Advertising in bus shelters can be an effective way to reach a large and diverse audience, as they are often located in high-traffic areas and can be seen by pedestrians, drivers, and passengers waiting for buses.
Truckvertising
Using trucks as moving billboards, or "truckvertising", is a form of outdoor advertising in which brands paint or wrap their logos or marketing messages onto the sides of commercial trucks. These trucks are then driven around on city streets, highways, and other public roads, effectively turning the trucks into mobile advertisements that can be seen by a large number of people. Truckvertising is particularly effective in urban areas where there is a high volume of traffic, as well as in areas where traditional forms of outdoor advertising, such as billboards, are scarce or less effective. Brands use truckvertising as a way to reach a wide audience and to promote their products or services in a unique and eye-catching way.
To increase wider audience
Brand activation can also be done in the retail stores, such as supermarkets or grocery stores with various forms of advertising and promotional materials to influence the purchasing decisions of shoppers. This can include a wide range of materials, such as product displays, shelf talkers, end-of-aisle displays, and other forms of point-of-purchase (POP) advertising. The goal of this brand activation in stores is to grab the attention of shoppers and influence their purchasing decisions by showcasing products and providing information about them in an eye-catching and memorable way.
Brand Activation Campaign
Imaginity partnered with Mowi and Top Line Marketing to develop an outdoor brand activation campaign that showcased both the brand essence and its wide variety of premium salmon cuts. Built around the concept “What starts well, ends better,” the campaign highlighted the salmon’s journey from pristine origins to inspiring dishes that consumers can easily prepare at home. Through appetizing photography and curated dish imagery, we emphasized freshness, flavor, and versatility. Each execution reinforced Mowi’s premium positioning while staying approachable and relatable to everyday shoppers. The result was a striking OOH campaign that quickly captured attention, strengthened brand awareness, and connected quality seafood with elevated daily meals.
Reinforcing the Brand Origin
For Cristal Beer in Panama, we created a comprehensive set of point-of-sale materials designed to reinforce the brand’s authentic connection to its origin in the Tierras Altas highlands. From beer-glass mats, coasters, and ice buckets for on-premise occasions to coolers, signage, and branded décor for retail spaces, every element highlighted the brand’s mountain iconography and natural roots. This consistent implementation across touchpoints not only enhanced the drinking experience but also strengthened Cristal’s positioning as a beer deeply tied to the land where much of the nation’s food is produced.
Retail Rebranding Strategy
Imaginity also works with retailers to redefine their brand identity and create scalable visual systems. For Artefacta, Ecuador’s leading appliance retailer, we developed a comprehensive rebranding and brand architecture strategy that unified its diverse business lines under a cohesive identity. By modernizing its visual language and creating a flexible brand system, we clarified the company’s positioning across home appliances, optics, and motorcycles. The result was a stronger brand presence in-store and online, improved communication with customers, and a platform that supports Artefacta’s growth in a highly competitive retail market.
