The Challenge: Extending a Brand into a New Category
The main challenge was to successfully launch a new line of floor disinfectants for the LAVA brand, which was traditionally known for dishwashing products. The packaging design needed to clearly communicate this category extension while ensuring the dual benefit of being both a cleaner and a disinfectant was highlighted, not just the fragrance.

The Solution: Highlighting Fragrance and Functionality
We developed a packaging design for the new Eucalyptus Forest and Apple Blossom variants that balanced two key messages: fragrance appeal and functional benefit. While visually communicating the aroma, we ensured the primary benefit of being a cleaner and disinfectant remained prominent. We also utilized the container's transparency as a design element to showcase the liquid content.

The Results: Successful Category Launch
The project successfully delivered a packaging solution that facilitated LAVA's entry into the floor disinfectant category. The design clearly articulated the product's function and fragrance variants, ensuring quick consumer understanding. The visual emphasis on both cleaning and disinfecting helped establish the new line as a multi-benefit product, supporting the brand's successful expansion.
